Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford will be named the 2015-16 Sixth Man of the Year, according to multiple sources.

In 79 appearances this season, Crawford averaged 14.2 points and shot 90 percent from the free-throw line. He was a major reason Los Angeles sustained a high level of play when Blake Griffin was out with injuries.

This is the first time in NBA history that a player has been a recipient of the award three times.

Crawford, 36, will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
